Ergo Computing (UK) based in Ruddington, Nottinghamshire would like to thank all delegates who took time out to talk to us on Stand 2 at the South West Grid for Learning Conference on the 5th July. The event was a huge success and we really enjoyed talking to a wide variety of people about their ICT plans for their School/College, and how Ergo's products and solutions could help turn these plans into a reality.
We would also like to thank those people who entered our competition to win one of our highly successful Microlite 642 laptops.
Delegates simply had to provide us with their information and interests to be in with a chance of winning. We received almost 90 entries, but there could unfortunately only be one winner, who we are pleased to announce was Emily Page, a Teacher at Oliver Tomkins Nursery and Infants School. Ergo's South West Business Development Manager, Lorraine Ralph, went to the School to present Emily with the prize. Emily was pleased with her win and told us:
"I still can't believe I won the laptop prize at the SWGfL in July, I have never won anything before so it came as quite a surprise!"
"It's just what I needed for my teaching! Being a smaller laptop, portability from home to school enables me to easily plan lessons in my own time then deliver to the children. It is much faster than I expected and and handle all my files and documents without any issues. A perfect gadget for busy teachers."
