Timetables

• Teachers’ and school timetables are integrated into the Scholaris Learning Gateway and can be overlaid to show every other sporting, academic and social event taking place within the school. It gives teachers a whole of school view and provides a single point of access to information.

Class Lists

• Class Lists are integrated into the school administration system so can be relied on to always present an up to date list for teachers.

Email

• You can send emails without leaving Scholaris. All class lists, administration addresses and parental addresses can be easily accessed, school notes and reports attached, allowing a fast and efficient communication service.

Calendar

• View school, department and individual calendar information and integrate it into one. This allows an at a glance view of what is coming up and can show any potential double bookings or clashes of schedule.

News and Information

• This ‘front page’ feature of Scholaris makes it easy to disseminate news and information to all school members. Messages from administration, news about upcoming events, are presented for all users to see making communication so much easier for staff and students.

Collaboration

• Collaboration sites allow students and teachers to share workspaces, discussions, video and voice chat applications with peers. They give teachers another mode of assessment when used by students to discuss and develop ideas online.

Contact Details

• All student contact details are stored and accessible by staff – and are always up to date.

Student Alerts

• Students alerts help all teachers and administrators to better manage the students in their care. Because observations can be viewed by all teachers within the system, any emerging issues can be quickly noted.

Incident Reporting

• Incidents can be filed in one location where they can be communicated to all responsible parties. This one stop reporting method eliminates the need for multiple phone calls and emails.

Document Management

• Both teachers and administrators can benefit from the document management library. The library makes it easy to store and retrieve files and alerts you when a file has been updated by another user.

Activity Builder

• Allows teachers to quickly and easily build electronic learning activities utilising multiple data sources.

Class Profiler

• With the Class Profiler a teacher can better define and analyse achievement levels of an individual or group within a class against the requirements of the curriculum.

Course Builder

• The course builder is a real time tool to aggregate individual learning activity sequences into a cohesive course framework.

Assignment Manager

• Set, collect, and mark assignments on-line – and publish assessment criteria. The assignment manager streamlines lesson management and allows teachers more time for hands on teaching.
