Business Development Manager (Nottingham)


up to £40k

The role
As a key member of sales team you will be required to contribute to increasing sales of the complete Ergo product range through new business sales and quality account management. You will be responsible for developing and growing new business in your area/sector to an agreed revenue target through the development of a focused sales and marketing strategy.

The person
  • Proven experience of managing the full sales cycle
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, motivate and communicate across all levels of the business
  • A high standard of written and oral presentation skills
  • Experience of using Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Highly self motivated and organised who enjoys the challenge of achieving goals
  • Proven negotiating and influencing skills
  • Willingness to travel throughout your region/sector
  • Experience in the IT hardware sector would be a distinct advantage although full training will be provided.


  • Technical Sales (Nottingham)


    up to £40k

    The role
    You will be responsible for developing a focussed sales and marketing strategy for the company’s Infrastructure proposition, together with supporting and motivating the sales team to increase Infrastructure sales. As one of only 16 UK Becta-accredited ICT Infrastructure Framework Suppliers, this will be a key area for Ergo’s growth in 2008 and beyond.

    The person

  • Extensive knowledge of storage area networking, SharePoint, VMware and Windows Sever 2003
  • Experience in qualifying opportunities, managing pipelines and resource planning
  • A high standard of written and oral presentation skills
  • Ability to lead the development of qualified proposals including defined implementation plans


  • Marketing Executive/Web Designer (Nottingham)


    £18k to £25k

    The role
    With a suitable balance of marketing and technical skills, you will help us further develop our marketing/web strategy, whilst assisting with in our biggest marketing challenge of 2008; to overhaul our website and migrate from the current platform to a content management system based on Microsoft SharePoint.

    The person
  • Thorough understanding of technologies such as HTML, XHTML, CSS and tools such as Photoshop/Dreamweaver
  • Experience of MS CMS 2002/Sharepoint is desirable although full training will be given
  • Excellent graphic design skills and technical knowledge to create web pages, e-shots, and brochures
  • Capable of demonstrating their contribution to sites that they have created
  • Managing a content management system to publish content onto the website quickly and efficiently
  • High analytical skills relating to web statistics and implementing measures for improvement
  • A high standard of writing and editing copy.
